AMY & DAVID : ANYTIME

A few months ago, while JD and I met with our accountant, the accountant explained whenever he felt under pressure to perform a task at his office, he doesn't sigh and become overwhelmed. He, instead, pumps himself up by telling himself, It's SHOWTIME!!!

To be honest, I thought it was one of the cheesiest things I'd ever heard. UNTIL I STARTED USING IT MYSELF?!? It kinda started as a joke when JD turned to me at a wedding one Saturday morning and was all, "It's SHOWTIME!" I crumbled from laughter, then decided that this was the best way to start a shoot.

Amy and David live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but flew to Los Angeles for a photoshoot. We had a blast roaming the forsaken streets off Alameda and I'm so thankful to have met two of the most amazing people on Earth.

I can't explain why, but just before the shoot, I became strangely nervous, then muttered under my breath, "It's SHOWTIME!"
